Electric Cordless Grass String Trimmer
Welcome to my electric cordless grass trimmer blog

Summer is pretty much over but you might already be thinking about replacing your old electric cordless grass trimmer from this season. Or you decided that you have used your old gas powered whipped snipper for the last time this year.

So the question you might be asking yourself is what kind of electric grass trimmer is appropriate for you. Do you even need a cordless trimmer, or is a corded one sufficient?  I believe that most people would be best served getting an electric model. Gas powered trimmers are usually excessive when considering the average sized American lawn. There is no need to have all that power for the work that needs to be done in a small garden. Then of course, you have to consider maintenance and operational ease. Most people who own a gas powered grass trimmer are not familiar with these motors and therefore risk damaging it over time.

All these problems can easily be overcome by switching to an electric cordless grass trimmer. They’re really easy to use- just pop in the supplied batteries and go. You don’t have to worry about anything besides you battery level. Obviously you have to make sure that you always have a fully charged battery as backup so you can finish the work without waiting for the recharge to complete. If you do have some thicker weeds to cut you may run into some problems with an electric trimmer. The power of an electric motor cannot compete against a gas motor, so this needs to be taken into consideration. Some people with very small lawn that need a bit of extra power can choose to get a corded electric grass trimmer instead. These have less power than a gas model, but more power than a cordless trimmer. You also do not have to worry about running out of power. Do to the limitations of having to pull around a cord; this is not an option for people with larger properties.

My future posts will take closer looks at the different electric cordless grass trimmers on the market to help you make an informed decision.
